Dick’s Bean Bar is a specialty coffee shop in Warrington town centre that also sells freshly roasted beans online. I designed and built the website and its WooCommerce store, and I’ve hosted and looked after it ever since.

The Starting Point
Dick’s Bean Bar lives by a simple rule: life’s too short for bad coffee. The business needed a website that did two very different jobs well.
Locals and visitors needed to find the coffee shop, see what makes it special and know exactly where it is. Coffee lovers further afield needed an easy way to buy the same freshly roasted beans online and have them delivered. It replaced an old website that couldn’t do either job properly.
What I Built
The aim was simple: get people through the door on Winwick Street, and get beans in the post to everyone else.
The Coffee Shop and The Coffee Store sit side by side, so café visitors and online shoppers each find what they came for.
Freshly roasted beans and branded merchandise, with card, Apple Pay and Google Pay checkout, delivery or collection from the shop.
Clear directions to Winwick Street, between Warrington Central Station and the Interchange, so nobody walks past.
The brand’s no-nonsense love of good coffee comes through in the design and the words, not just the menu.
Page titles, headings and business details set up so Google connects the website with coffee in Warrington.
Products, prices and stock can be updated by the team, without needing a developer for every change.
The Results
A well-built, well-looked-after website keeps working long after launch. Comparing March to August 2026 with the same months in 2025, the website is being found far more often, and sitting much higher in Google.
